Les poilus

Experimentations with mixed medias, about the french soldiers during WW1.
They were called "Les Poilus" that basically translates to "The Hairy" because of the lack of hygiene.

Poor soldier has gone mad, at least now he's enjoying the explosions as if they were fireworks

This one was weird to make, at first i composited the thumbnail with several sketches i had scanned, played around with the composition, then I got painting. I really should experiment more like this !
